Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Yujana collects, why, and how you can control it. The data controller is Oumaima El Hourri, founder of Yujana. Contact: namaste@joinyujana.com
1. What we collect

We do not ask for your gender, and we do not collect payment details.
2. Why we use it

We never sell your data and never use it for advertising.
3. What other members see
Other logged-in members can see your name, photo, profile type, experience badge, country flags, the profile sections you choose to show, and your questions and answers. On questions and answers, you can choose to show only your first name and the initial of your last name, and to hide your photo on a question. When you click "I'm interested" on an event, your email is shared with its organizer.
4. Who processes your data
We use a few trusted providers, who only process your data on our behalf:
- Lovable Labs Sweden AB (hosting, database, authentication, emails and AI features), based in Sweden, which may process data in other countries, including the United States, through its own sub-processors listed at trust.lovable.dev;
- Tally (questionnaires, servers in the European Union);
- Namecheap (our email inbox).
When data is transferred outside the European Union, it is protected by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep it
- Account and profile: as long as your account is open, then deleted within 30 days of closing it.
- Questions and answers: kept without your name after closing your account, unless you ask us to delete them.
- Waitlist: until you unsubscribe, or 3 years without contact.
- Questionnaire answers and feedback: 3 years.
- Technical logs: 12 months maximum.
6. Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, limit or object to its use, receive a copy of it, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to namaste@joinyujana.com and we will reply within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can file a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
7. Cookies
Yujana only uses cookies needed to keep you logged in and to run the site. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If this changes, we will ask for your consent first.
8. Security
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited by strict permissions. No system is perfectly secure: if a breach affects you, we will tell you.
9. Children
Yujana is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. We will tell you about important changes by email or on the site.
